Position Summary

Instructor for Epi 390 (Disease in Society), 2018 Summer Session II. This course is taught in a fully on-line format.

The Lead Instructor will need to be proficient with the D2L learning platform, including the posting of lecture material, audio recording of lectures, creation of online examinations, maintaining an electronic grade book, the creation of new learning modules, etc.

A faculty member within the department will work with the Instructor, as necessary, to provide feedback for newly developed lecture material prior to posting.

The development of all new course content, while flexible, will be consistent with the goals of the undergraduate curriculum as currently taught in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics.

The Instructor will be fully responsible for addressing all student questions via office hours (online, and in-person as necessary).

Required Degree

Masters -Epidemiology/Public Health or related

Desired Degree

Doctorate -Epidemiology/Public Health or related

Minimum Requirements

Masters degree required. Prior teaching experience a plus.
