Under the guidance of the Marketing Manager, the Advertising Coordinator will assist with the execution and delivery of advertising plans to advance the university's strategic priorities. He/she will work alongside Strategic Marketing and Communications' Creative Strategy team to fulfill advertising plans that serve a larger marketing initiative to reach discreet audiences. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Education & Experience: Bachelor degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field. 2 years of marketing experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Required Skills & Abilities: * Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on client relations. * Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy of work. * Superior organizational skills - must be able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines * Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills * Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to establish cooperative working relationships with supervisors and colleagues * High level of technological competence: must have strong spreadsheet, database, presentation and word-processing skills * Ability to work some nights and weekends to attend marketing activations and events.
