Graduate Academic Services Coordinator

Job Description Summary:
Create and analyze degree completion records from advancement through to commencement clearing. Administering Graduate Orientation registration and surveys preparing reports to the Director. Primary individual to oversee and execute updates and modifications to the GAS we page and attachments.

Specific Duties:

Degree completion: Analyze & create degree completion records as well as CAPP reports and Letters of Needs for commencement eligibility.

Graduate Orientation: Compile guest lists via Graduate Admissions.

Coordinates registration process and oversee and analyze data surveys on the orientation and presents results to Senior Leadership.

Process grade changes; analyzing them for possible degree posting; assist in creating and evaluating Doctoral registration CRNs and assisting in being a liason with ProQuest for publication of dissertations.

Develop and maintain registration tracking for EdD program, reconcile and maintain GAS website and GAS Handbook.

Assist in advising departments, as well as the students, on the dissertation procedures and processes; providing information to students and administrative departments in regards to policies and procedures concerning Continuous Enrollment and Doctoral program deadlines.

Develop and maintain a registration tracking system to be disseminated to the EdD program for the purpose of advising.

Oversees and updates content of the Graduate Academic Services website and social media accounts.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required
Proficient knowledge of Windows Office

Experience with Access or Cognos

1 year experience in Educational setting or closely related experience.

1 year of college or university education beyond high school may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Banner Experience in working with graduate/doctoral students
