Term: This is a Terminal appointment
This 50%-70% position is a Fixed-term Finite position with a limited appointment of two years or less. This appointment can be extended to a renewable appointment based on departmental needs, funding and organizational changes. This position provides comprehensive administrative support to the Participatory Learning and Teaching Organization (PLATO) sponsored by the Division of Continuing Studies. Primary responsibilities include program administration; processing memberships; customer service; handling event registrations; supporting board members, committee chairs, and volunteers; communicating with members; preparing materials; and handling finances.
This position is expected to utilize a considerable amount of independent action, initiative and judgment, exercising a high level of administrative, problem solving, and analytical ability. The individual in this position must also possess a positive attitude, exercise accuracy and professionalism, and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Duties are performed under general supervision of the Associate Dean for Administration.
50%-70% position - flexible hours
