High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a dental specialty office (e.g., periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics). Knowledge of a variety of dental procedures. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Brief Description of Duties/Primary Purpose:

A Project Aide is needed to accomplish necessary routine work for clinical research studies in the Department of Anesthesiology. Under the supervision of clinical investigators, the incumbent will assist with various dental and medical research trials and duties. The incumbent must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This position entails some early morning or evening work. The start date of this position is June 1, 2018.

  • Perform various administrative duties which may include filing, preparing, assembling and copying forms, data entry, maintaining clinical research study supplies.
  • Under supervision, assist investigators with collecting and shipping lab samples, and gathering patient screening data for clinical trials and research studies.
  • Assist investigators with patient enrollment including data collection and reviewing enrollment, screening and registration information for accuracy.
  • Other duties as assigned.
