Required Qualifications:
As demonstrated through prior work experience: sound fiscal and time management skills; attention to detail; ability to clearly and concisely express ideas and positions; both orally and in writing; and ability to work in a team environment.
Experience in processing various financial transactions in an electronic HRIS system.
Experience organizing and prioritizing complex work tasks, interacting with personnel, managing multiple projects at once and completing workload within established deadlines.
Experience organizing and maintaining accurate and comprehensive records and files while maintaining confidentiality of records.
Must have well developed and efficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, web browsers, spreadsheets and databases

Preferred Qualifications:
Higher education degree or hours of attendance
Experience in government and private (foundations) contracts and grants administration in either a university or non-profit setting.
Working knowledge of t he Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards.
Experience with the preparation and review of budgets and proposals for grants and contracts in a financial, post-award grant management, and enterprise resource system.
Certified Research Administrator status
Knowledge of University Policies and Procedures

Job Description:
Responsible for supporting the management of the assigned research grant

Job Duties:
Assist with pre-award budget planning and proposal development and submission.
Assist with post-award administration.
Assist with post-award audit inquiries and closeout process.
Prepare materials and provide assistance to faculty through the pre- and post-award processes.
Record and monitor submitted proposals as well as funded grants and contracts.
Communicate, collaborate, and meet with faculty and others.
Perform other duties as assigned
