The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at the State University of New York at Oswego invites applications for the position of Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach. This is a full-time, ten-month coaching position with benefits.

Description of Responsibilities: Will be responsible for managing all aspects of a competitive Division III Women’s Lacrosse program including coaching, recruiting, and program administration.
Responsibilities will also include:
- All aspects of coaching and administration of a Division III Women’s Lacrosse program.
- Recruiting athletically and academically qualified student athletes.
- Organizing, scheduling, and conducting practices and competitions.
- Encouraging a commitment to academic excellence.
- Managing a budget and fundraising for the program.
- Ensuring program compliance with all college, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
- Additional duties as assigned.
In addition, will be expected to display a commitment to undergraduate and/or graduate education, and possess communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to work effectively with an increasingly diverse array of students and colleagues.
- Bachelor’s degree at time of application
- Previous coaching experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proven on-field teaching and player development ability
- The ability to identify and attract outstanding student-athletes to the college
- Commitment to student-athlete success and to a competitive Division III Athletics program.
- Master’s degree
