Posting Summary:
Simulation Technology Specialist collaborates with faculty on the technical aspects of the simulation development.

This Specialist will create scenario settings provide technical support and keep all the equipment appropriately maintained for simulation scenarios. In addition, this individual will maintain files and records specific to Clinical Simulation Learning Center (CSLC) equipment and inventory. The specialist will coordinate the ordering of supplies to keep at a par level.

Simulation Technology Specialists support nursing education for medical students. They coordinate educational aspects of the medical simulation program including performing pre and post simulation activities, executing simulation sessions, and collaborating with faculty and staff on scenario development. They support the daily operations of the Simulation Center, provide technical and administrative coordination, and maintain documentation and resources.

Reduced hours or off months for this position are June, July and August. The hours during the summer depend on the need of the lab.
Working occasional nights and weekends may be required.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic environment with diverse clientele. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Able to lift and position simulation equipment up to 75
pounds. Able to maneuver in small places over cords and
other obstructions.
