ACADEMIC (9 months)
Degree and Area of Specialization:
Masters Degree or ABD required in Computer Sciences or a closely related field. PhD preferred.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Preferred in addition: an exceptional record of classroom instruction and curricular innovation in computer science that can further enhance our undergraduate offerings; experience teaching large-enrollment lectures; the ability to teach advanced undergraduate courses; professional expertise in software and application development and/or designing user experiences.
License or certificate:
The Computer Sciences Department currently employs 9 faculty associates and is looking to hire 1 more. These faculty associates primarily teach introductory computer science classes, and occasionally advanced undergraduate classes. In addition, these positions include a small service responsibility.
This position being recruited will start in August of 2018.
