Rollins College is seeking an experienced, collaborative professional for the role of Admission Counselor. This position assists in all aspects of the admission process from initial recruitment of prospective students to the review and assessment of applications. In addition to conducting large and small group information sessions on the Rollins campus, counselors travel extensively to meet with students, parents and guidance counselors at college fairs and high schools; conduct interviews with candidates and participate in the admission selection process; develop recruitment strategies to target specific student populations; and host on-campus events for both prospective and admitted students.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; advanced degree preferred
  • Strong public speaking ability addressing both large and small groups
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Knowledge of college admission processes
  • Strong event planning skills
  • One year of related experience in an educational setting preferred
  • Knowledge of Rollins College and Winter Park/Orlando area a plus
