Associate Director, International and Transfer Admissions

Status: Full-time Regular (exempt)
Reports to: Vice President for Enrollment Management

Execute strategic initiatives pertaining to successful recruitment of international and transfer students. Coordinate programs, services and activities that promote the recruitment and enrollment of international and transfer students.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Coordinates the transfer recruitment activities, including recruitment and scheduling of visits, maintaining and growing school partnerships and program communications.
• Represents the college at transfer recruitment fairs and additional community college visits and recruitment events within assigned territory.
• Work with International Agencies for the recruitment of international students.
• Ensures the college's international recruitment remain compliant with relevant laws and regulations, most notably required records for international students. Serves as a Designated School Official (DSO), adhering to SEVIS and Homeland Security compliance.
• Coordinate written and online communications for international and transfer recruitment, ensuring communications are current, accurate and clearly understood.
• Coordinates office operations and technical systems to support exceptional recruitment service delivery, accurate data management and meaningful reporting.
• Works with Student Affairs to support programs and cross-departmental collaborations that advance international and diversity awareness among the college community.
• Consults and collaborates throughout the campus community on matters related to international students and transfer student recruitment.
• Supervises student employees, including hiring, orientation, training, performance management and career development.
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree required
• Direct experience successfully developing, implementing and/or coordinating international, transfer, and/or diversity recruitment initiatives for post-secondary educational institutions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of laws, regulations and standard practices relevant to serving international students and a multicultural student population.
•Demonstrated knowledge and experience managing SEVIS database and advanced knowledge of F-1 immigration regulations.
• Able to collaborate effectively in a highly diverse, multi-disciplinary environment.
• Able to communicate ideas, proposals and decisions clearly and concisely.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office software.
• Commitment to diversity and principles of sustainability.
• Must be available some evenings and weekends
• Must have a valid driver's license.
