Adjunct Lab Instructor of Instrumentation

Job description

The Adjunct Lab Instructor of Instrumentation will be responsible for teaching up to three (3) sections of ME351, Instrumentation and Microprocessor Laboratory, for the Fall 2018 term.  This laboratory covers measurement and measurement errors, as well as some basic statistical concepts used to quantify error.  Measurement devices such as thermocouples, strain gages, and acoustic measuring equipment are also used.  More information regarding the course may be found in the college’s online catalog.

 

Requirements: 

The candidate should have a Master’s of Science degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferably with teaching experience and/or industrial experience.  Familiarity with some of the measuring devices used in the course is also preferred.
