Assistant Director/Lead Teacher

Assists director and takes lead management role in director's absence. Provides curriculum and leadership to teaching staff. Oversees classroom.
Create and implement activities that stimulate children’s physical intellectual, social and emotional growth.
Communicate and maintain effective working relationships with the children, parents, and staff of the center.
Assist with the supervision, training, and mentoring of assistant teachers.
Conduct and document developmental screenings and assessments of children.
Assist with the maintenance of accurate records in compliance with state guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Campus Kids.
Associate’s Degree or equivalent in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field required. Applicant must meet all licensing requirements for the State of Ohio regarding employment with children.
