Degree and Area of Specialization:

B.S. degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Science, or close related field



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

A minimum of 1 year experience working in an analytical laboratory setting is required. Experience in the chemical analysis of foods through the use of various analytical instruments is highly desirable. Experience/familiarity with techniques such as gas chromatography, ion chromatography, HPLC, and microscopy is preferred. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills and have the organizational ability to perform multiple tasks.

Position Summary:

This position will provide analytical support for the Center for Dairy Research related to dairy products.



Additional Information:

The prefix is dependent on relevant work experience.
This position may be required to work on holidays and weekends if critical analytical time points fall on such days.
