Job Summary

The Office of Admissions Advising and Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic Aims-lovers to participate in the piloting of our Aims Campus Representatives Program. This exciting opportunity will allow Campus Representatives to connect with prospective students, their campus, and the surrounding community. Main responsibilities include:
- conducting campus tours
- contacting prospective students via phone and email in order to help them navigate the Aims admissions process
- working campus and community events
- assisting with call campaigns
- serving as Arty the Aardvark
- maintaining inventory for Recruitment materials
Additional responsibilities may include:
- data entry
- call center phone operations
- other administrative duties as assigned.
These tasks will be completed during regularly scheduled office hours as well as during special events, some of which may be outside of business hours.


Minimum Qualifications

1. Eligible for work study funding (need or non-need based)
2. In good academic standing with Aims Community College and maintain at least a 2.0 GPA
3. Completed one full semester at Aims Community College at time of hire
4. Excellent interpersonal communication and phone skills
5. Ability to work cooperatively with the team well as individually
6. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Products such as Google Drive, Gmail, and Calendar
7. Availability to work scheduled evenings and weekends


Preferred Qualifications

Knowledgeable about Aims academic programs, administrative departments, and current happenings around campus and in the community.
