Minimum Education/Experience: A master's degree in Kinesiology or a closely related field (including but not limited to Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, and Nutritional Exercise Physiology).

Job Duties: The Department of Kinesiology seeks applicants to fill a nine-month fixed-term appointment to begin in August 2018. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses related to exercise physiology, exercise prescription, physical activity, and disease prevention. Duties may include supervising undergraduate interns and administrative duties. The individual in this position will oversee scheduling and function of the F.I.T.T. (Fitness, Instruction, Testing and Training) exercise facility in relation to service and research projects. Additionally, the successful candidate will coordinate the personnel and tasks associated with maintaining the operational excellence of the Cardiovascular Health Assessment Program, a service program offered by the Human Performance Laboratory and a revenue generating service program that funds that portion of the position. This person will also provide service on department and college committees when eligible to service and professional service consistent with responsibilities.
