Medical Assistant

Performs basic medical, technical and administrative support services for clinic. Duties include: administration of medication, including oral and injections; removal of sutures; collect and record data, including height, weight and vital signs, as authorized by physicians, registered nurses or Sr. LVN; provides patient information and instructions, and assists front office with patient flow during clinic hours, including scheduling patients, processing authorizations; constant telephone communication, updates patient files when changes arise; Position will be required to go to offsite clinic (Costa Mesa). Clients are adult and geriatric females.

Salary: Hourly $18.92 - $20.89
Total Hours: 8-5, M-F
Career Position.
Certificate of training for medical assistant.
Phlebotomy certificate.
BCLS certified.
Bilingual preferred.
Final candidate subject to background check.
