This position provides executive level support to the Senior Vice-President and General Counsel and other leaders in the Office of the General Counsel (OGC). The Executive Assistant will be responsible for managing the administrative needs of the SVP/GC and other senior leaders to ensure that their time is effectively allocated and that they have the information and background documents (meeting minutes, briefing materials, etc.) to adequately carry out their responsibilities.

This position will provide a comprehensive range of support services to ensure the overall efficiency of the OGC leaders by providing the following support: calendar and mail management, project support, managing travel arrangements, receipts, expense reports, processing requisitions/purchase orders, serving as delegate for time tracking, and preparation of reports and presentations. The Executive Assistant will review, prioritize, distribute, and respond to the principals' mail as appropriate. As a member of the administrative/office support team, responsibilities also include maintaining office equipment and
providing general administrative office support to the department as needed. This
position requires a high degree of trustworthiness due to the handling of confidential information. This is an exempt position due to the confidential, nuanced, demanding and discreet nature of the work required of the Office of General Counsel and of this


Bachelor’s degree required, masters preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience providing administrative support within an executive setting required. Applicant must be a self-motivated, detail oriented individual who can anticipate problems and demonstrate significant independent judgment. The candidate must be sensitive to the high volume of demands on the leaders’ time by prioritizing appointment requests while communicating with the leaders to manage conflicts and priorities.

Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Database and web skills are desirable competencies. Individual must be extremely flexible, adaptable and capable of establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
