The Technical Support Specialist supports the McCormick Center’s technology needs and systems.
The Technical Support Specialist provides support for all technology needs of McCormick Center employees and participants, in person and via phone, email, etc. Diagnoses and resolves technical hardware, software, and web-based application issues. Supports staff with set-up and operation of training room equipment, onsite and offsite. Assists in determining technology needs of McCormick Center employees, recommends internal trainings based on those needs, creates presentations, and conducts trainings. Maintains hardware and software inventory. Images and/or installs new computers, tablets, software, and applications. Creates and manages a replacement cycle for computers, images, and the processes around computer replacements.
Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or related field
3 years of previous experience required
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and equipment, including computers, phones, copier, projectors, TV/DVD, and other computer peripherals
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Ability to leverage technology
Problem solving skills
