About the Position
The Program Analyst performs a wide range of administrative activities related to the planning and execution of the Doctor of Audiology Program. Responsibilities also include overseeing day-to-day administrative program operations. This position is responsible for the program budget and office operations, maintaining the long-term fiscal continuity of the program.
Education and Experience
A bachelor's degree and/or equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs.
-Experience with budget management
-Experience with generating analysis of data for reporting purposes
-Experience with marketing - social media, brochures, general PR
-Experience working with policies and procedures
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
-Ability to analyze student performance data for accrediting purposes.
-Ability to analyze survey data.
-Ability to compose and appropriately format correspondence and reports.
-Ability to effectively handle interpersonal interactions at all levels and handle highly sensitive interpersonal situations.
-Ability to handle multiple work priorities, organize and plan work and projects.
-Ability to learn PeopleSoft and University financial transaction system.
-Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive communications with employees and external agencies.
-Ability to make independent decisions and exercise sound judgment.
-Ability to perform accurately in a detail-oriented environment.
-Ability to perform business math, analyze budgetary data, and make projections using multiple sources of information.
-Ability to quickly learn and apply a variety of state, federal, CSU, and SJSU policies and procedures.
-Ability to review and interpret accreditation standards for reporting purposes.
-Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain effective working and networking relationships within and outside the work group and serve as a liaison for the organizational unit.
-Excellent customer service and public relations skills.
-Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
-Familiarity with survey tools/software.
-Knowledge of basic methods and procedures for research and statistical analysis and the ability to apply them.
