**Must be a student enrolled in the Teacher Education Program to apply and must be eligible for the Federal Work Study Program and be able to provide approved documentation. **

Title: Library After-School Tutor / Summer Camp Instructor—Federal Student Worker

Job Summary:

Create specialized lesson plans. Provide one-on-one tutoring in math and reading subject areas for elementary level children during Fall and Spring semesters. Camp instructor for Summer Reading Camps, HEB Read3 Camp and/or Summer STEM Camps. Ensure completion of all required enrollment documentation. Maintain confidentiality of documentation pertaining to families served. Assist in the summer free breakfast and lunch program. Interact with Library Specialist regarding tutoring and summer camp schedules. Work with library staff to ensure that necessary supplies are available. Meet with Education Librarian and other College of Education faculty as required. Other duties, as assigned.

Education Required:
High School Graduate and current Texas A&M University-Central Texas student enrolled in the Teacher Education Program

Necessary Skills:

Classroom management. Work with children.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in creating lesson plans

Hours: 15 hours, Monday - Thursday. Varied hours, dependent on assigned duty area.

Salary: $8.00 per hour
