Asst Professor - Clinical

The University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine is seeking a candidate to join its team in a dynamic and innovative clinical environment. The School is located on the beautiful Anschutz Medical Campus in state-of-the-art facilities. The campus is home to the schools of medicine, pharmacy, nursing, public health and dental medicine along with multiple hospitals and affiliate institutions. The campus is located in the Denver metropolitan area at the base of the majestic Rocky Mountains. The School provides rich learning experiences, high quality patient care and outstanding research. Programs include DDS, International Student Program, General Practice Residency, Graduate Periodontics and Orthodontics. The University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine is seeking applications for a full-time clinical track position for a Periodontist in the Department of Surgical Dentistry. Salary and rank are commensurate with credentials and experience.

The primary responsibilities of this position will include didactic, pre-clinical and clinical teaching in the pre-doctoral and post-doctoral curricula. Opportunity for participation in the School's Dental Faculty Practice is available and encouraged.

Minimum Qualifications:

A DDS/DMD degree from a CODA-accredited US dental school or foreign equivalent, a certificate of advanced education in Periodontics from a CODA-accredited institution, eligibilty for a Colorado moderate sedation license, and eligibility for a Colorado or Academic Dental License. Board certification or eligibility for Board Certification by the American Board of Periodontology is mandatory. Excellent oral and written communication skills and a commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and collegiality are required.
