Job description

Duties: The Coordinator for Note-taking Accommodations assures the provision of note-takers, or other formats for notes, for Penn undergraduate, graduate and professional students with disabilities. This involves the recruitment, hiring, and training of the note-takers and coordination with the note-receivers. The person in this position is responsible for providing data and reports on usage. Additionally, this Coordinator assists with the provision of accommodated exams, including proctoring, exam assembly and email monitoring. This Coordinator participates in office policy decisions related to the provision of accommodations.

Qualifications: High School degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred plus 5-7 years of experience preferable in an academic setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of basic computer software, including Windows suite. Experience with databases. excellent organization skills and communication skills. Ability to work evenings as may be required.
