Description
The University of Texas at Austin is seeking outstanding applicants for a non-tenure track faculty position in the Bachelor of Science in Public Health Degree Program in the College of Natural Sciences.


Qualifications
Two of the courses to be taught include: Health Policy and Health Systems, and Health Behavior Theory and Practice. A third course may be Introduction to Public Health or Environmental Health. Thus, the ideal candidate will have broad experience in public health and specialized knowledge of health policy and health behavior. She/he must have the ability to teach undergraduate students interested in public health and public health majors. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to assist undergraduate students with the completion of research projects and honors theses. Prior experience mentoring students is desirable. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in curriculum development and the use of innovative instructional methods. Successful grant writing experience is desirable. Start date: August 1, 2018.
