Faculty Positions — Hematology & Oncology (Benign Hematology)
The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit academic clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University, is seeking full-time Hematologists/Oncologists with clinical specialization in Benign Hematology. The Division of Hematology/Oncology of the Department of Medicine provides opportunities to collaborate with colleagues of the George Washington Cancer Center that brings together the resources of the University, the GW Medical Faculty Associates, and the GW University Hospital to expand current research efforts in the fight against cancer and to position our institution as the premier cancer care provider in the Washington, D.C. area. These non-tenure track appointments will be made at a rank (Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor) and salary commensurate with experience.
Basic Qualifications: Applicants must be Board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine, Board certified/eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology, and licensed in the District of Columbia at the time of appointment. Experience treating benign hematologic conditions; conducting clinical trials; and teaching students, residents, and fellows is required.
