Job Summary
The Claremont Colleges are seeking an energetic, innovative, collaborative, and highly organized individual to play a key leadership role in developing and supporting the Digital Humanities (DH) within the consortium. This position is funded by a five-year grant from the Andrew J. Mellon Foundation. The colleges are currently in Year 4; the award ends on September 30, 2019. The purpose of the grant is to create and sustain an integrated system of support, training, and research that will make the consortium a model learning community where DH methods and tools inform the work of scholars and students at all levels. The funds are being used to host an annual set of DH programs and events; train faculty and educate students; support digitally-infused course development; and maintain the collaborative capstone effort known as the Digital Humanities Research Studio. This position offers a wonderful opportunity for a recently graduated Ph.D. in the Humanities, or an individual completing a post-doc, to gain valuable experience as a teacher, researcher, and grant administrator in a collaborative, consortial, academic environment.

Individuals wishing to be considered for this position should apply by April 23, 2018 for first consideration. To view the entire job description and apply, please visit: https://theclaremontcolleges.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/TCCS_Careers/job/Claremont/Digital-Research-Studio-Director_REQ-285
