Investment Analyst

The Bowdoin College Investments Office is currently recruiting for a full time Investment Analyst. The Investments Office is managed by a team of eight, including investment specialists, generalists and operations staff. The Investment Analyst will report to the Endowment Operations Officer and play an integral role in all areas of back office operations as well as collaboration in the oversight of the College's endowment. Essential functions include investment performance reporting, research and analysis, document coordination and other special projects.

Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. This is an exempt position requiring the time commitment necessary to complete the job requirements.A Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or a related field is required. Applicants must possess: excellent oral and written communication skills; strong organizational skills; high accuracy with data entry and record keeping to maintain the integrity of electronic and historical paper files; the ability to handle high volume of detailed work in a fast-paced office; sensitivity to strict confidentiality of data; and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and database application systems and experience with record keeping, file management, and telephone communication are also necessary.

Previous experience in financial analysis, reporting and operations is desirable.
