Duties: The Senior Administrator, in consultation with the CRRWH Director, is responsible for financial and administrative oversight of the CRRWH which includes four major programmatic type I centers: Ovarian Cancer Research Center (OCRC), Women's Health Clinical Research Center (WHCRC), Maternal Child Health Research Center (MCHRC) and the March of Dimes Prematurity Research Center. Financial oversight and planning includes the annual budget process, monitoring, managing, reporting and projecting expenses during the year and taking the lead to prevent or solve financial issues as they arise. Financial oversight is achieved by working closely with the faculty members who direct each area. This position has oversight of the grant portfolios for 40 active Principal Investigators worth $15M annually plus $3M more from gifts, endowments, EVPD, and SOMD accts. The Senior Administrator also has oversight for human resources, 25 active Visa, 5 service centers, purchasing functions, payroll, a weekly seminar series, common equipment, facilities issues and other general center-related functions. The Senior Administrator is involved and often takes the lead when planning for new projects or services. For example, we are currently developing three new service centers and a Translational Center for Excellence (TCE) in Ovarian Cancer. A team of 10 full time employees (Technical Director for the Ovarian Cancer Center Cores, 3 Clinical Research Operations Directors for the MCHRC, the WHCRC, and the GYN Onc Clinical Research, 3 Grants Managers, 2 Program Coordinators, and an Administrator Assistant), and 3 part-time employees (2 student workers and a floor manager) report to the Senior Administrator directly or with a dotted line relationship.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 7 to 10 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Master's preferred. Creative problem solving, diplomatic but also able to enforce decisions. Friendly collaborative approach. Grants Management experience is required.
