Job description

Duties: Responsible to the Executive Director of VPUL Facilities for budget planning, administration, and projections for the areas of Perelman Quadrangle & VPUL Performing Arts Facilities. Coordinate and provide financial support for Classroom Facilities, Penn Student Agencies, and University Life Technology Services. Assist in the oversight of budgets and ensure the integrity of financial transactions processed within the budgetary units. Provide clear and accurate reports in reference to future planning of income within Perelman Quadrangle. Oversee the personnel/payroll processes. Provide office management and supervise front desk office in the Perelman Quadrangle Administrative Office. The Business Administrator, as part of the Perelman Quadrangle leadership team, assists as necessary as an effective functioning partner.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in accounting or business or equivalent experience required with at least two years of administrative experience. Knowledge of standard accounting and office procedures required. Knowledge of University policies, procedures and Ben Financials helpful. Proficiency with spreadsheet software required. Word processing experience and good writing skills required. Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and organizational skills necessary. Ability to supervise and motivate employees is important. Ability to work well under conditions of stress is necessary.
