Modern Languages and Linguistics, Japanese Program
The Japanese Program in the Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics at Florida State University invites recent PhDs to apply for a two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship in Japanese Studies including such fields as Japanese Literature, Linguistics, and Cultural Studies beginning in Fall 2018. We welcome applicants with a broad range of research interests, and we are especially interested in scholarship that transcends traditional disciplinary boundaries and/or engages multiple historical periods or cultures.
The selected candidate is expected to engage in original research, to teach two courses per semester, and to actively support the Japanese undergraduate and graduate curriculum and programming outreach.
