Adjunct Instructor – Graphic Design

The University of Charleston invites applications for an experienced instructor to offer a graphic design course, beginning in August 2018. The course is designed to explore concept, process, and terminology necessary to create and edit digital images and text for various types of visual work. The course focuses on the manipulation and formatting of images and text for presentation. The course also serves to introduce students to the principles of multimedia design utilizing Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
Applicants should possess a master’s degree in graphic design or related discipline; professional experience in the field of graphic design preferred. Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and InDesign is required.
Prior college teaching experience preferred.
