Position Details

This position will provide tax planning, tax preparation and related services for the University through appropriate procedures and reporting systems to ensure compliance and accurate and timely filing of all federal, state and local taxes that are applicable to the University. This position will supervise one non-exempt staff person.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with knowledge in tax, finance or related fields, and five years of experience with federal, state and local taxes required. Effective oral and written communication skills
Desirable Qualifications
Knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code and income tax regulations is required, and knowledge of their applicability to tax-exempt organizations. Experience in a higher education environment.
