Advertised Job Summary: - Provides leadership for the design, development, implementation and promotion of campus-wide health education programs and services for students; including but not limited to physical health (e.g. nutrition, physical activity, body image, sexual health, chronic disease, infectious disease, cancer) and mental/emotional health (e.g. stress management, substance use/abuse, eating disorders) with particular attention to health disparities and sustainability. - Coordinates alcohol and drug education programs including but not limited to online training program, classroom presentations, awareness campaigns, events and speakers. - Coordinate sexual assault prevention programs including but not limited to online training program, classroom presentations, awareness campaigns, events and speakers. - Provide leadership for a health education planning team and develops positive working relationships interdepartmentally and with campus partners including but not limited to Health Services, Counseling Services, Campus Recreation, Housing and Residential Life, Student Life, Multicultural Programs, University Police and Dining Services. Program collaboration to include Lunch and Learns, Blood Drives, WinterBlast, AGOGE, and Premiere Fair. - Assists with the development and monitoring of budgetary matters for assigned program areas within the Health Education office. - Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Supports additional Student Life and Student Affairs events, as directed.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Masters degree in Student Services or related field, or bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience. Valid driver's license, good driving record and successful background check are required.
