Advertised Job Summary: Responsibility for UCG Nursing office: - Requests necessary office supplies to provide service for the School of Nursing office at UCG. - Orients new nursing faculty to the UCG facilities. - Assists students and faculty with the use of computer software. - Assists students with accessing LRC materials. - Assists students with audio visual materials. - Assists students with policies and procedures of USC Upstate. Admissions Responsibilities: - Accepts application and health requirement documentation to be processed by the School of Nursing. - Assists with preparing student files and compliance form for BSN Program. - Assists students during registration periods, resolving students' registration problems. - Assists with recruiting students. Responsibilities to Associate Dean and faculty of the Mary Black School of Nursing for the Greenville campus: - Pursues to completion projects or assignments delegated by the Associate Dean and faculty. - Receives calls and visitors, exercises judgment as the messages, refers calls, and supplies general information. - Types using computer and word processing equipment a wide variety of correspondence and reports. Composes or modifies previously existing documents from brief notes, verbal instructions, or independently from knowledge of circumstances and policy. - Compiles information for reporting purposes. Using computer and word processing equipment, modifies previous report from brief notes, verbal instructions or independently from knowledge of circumstances. Provides information to students regarding admission to the School of Nursing.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Bachelor's degree, or high school diploma and 4 years work experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or equivalency. Successful background check is required.
