Advertised Job Summary: Reporting to the President, the Executive Assistant is responsible for providing professional administrative support to the President, the chairs of board committees, and the Executive Director of the Grand Challenges for Social Work. Perform high-level administrative support for the President. Coordinate meeting, maintain an electronic calendar, and ensure the President is informed of upcoming appointments. File and retrieve documents, records, and reports. Prepare all travel arrangements, itineraries, and meeting materials and review for accuracy. Arrange monthly board calls and the annual member's webinar. Prepare and provide appropriate documentation to assist with meetings. Coordinate meetings, including scheduling room, materials preparation, and room set up. Plan and set up the annual induction ceremony at SSWR. Work with SSWR and Travelink. Perform financial activities including tracking expenditures, reconciling operating reports, resolving discrepancies, and processing invoices. Process expense reports. Managing communication between the President, board member, fellows, and the outside Academy Finance Committee. Work with (STAT Marketing) and the Academy Finance Committee on our finances and audits. Staffing the nominations and elections committee. Create and acquire content for the websites, email newsletters, and other online communications (social media). Assist with developing PowerPoint presentations and other presentation software.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services; or equivalency.
