BA/BS required

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Equivalent of 5 or more years of full-time experience in marketing and integrated marketing communications, including developing and executing strategic marketing plans and creative development.

Well-qualified applicants will have a successful track record in the following areas:
-Ability to transform organizational initiatives into successful marketing plans and brand strategies
-Ability to develop and execute tactical plans, including creative development that is on strategy, on target, on message and reflects our inclusive mindset, to deliver business goals
-Experience with all key advertising and communications vehicles, including digital, social media, print, and video, to deliver marketing and brand initiatives
-Experience in managing internal partners to assist in the development of strategy and tactics
-Experience in rebranding and brand launch efforts
Superior communications skills (written and verbal), including strong presentation skills
-Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships across the organization from leadership to line staff.
-Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively with diverse audiences
Experience supervising staff and developing talent

Position Summary:

The Assistant Director position specifically will manage the paid media initiatives that focus on enrollment marketing for WSB Full-Time MBA, BBA, Evening MBA, and Executive MBA programs. The enrollment marketing goals include developing prospect pipelines, delivering prospects, converting prospects into program leads and attracting a quality pool of applicants through compelling advertising, marketing, and promotional outreach in collaboration with the program offices.

The Integrated Marketing Communications department supports the Wisconsin School of Business through paid media, earned media and owned media initiatives to communicate and advance the School's vision and strategies to key constituents, which include prospective students, current students, faculty/staff, alumni, corporate partners, friends of the School and donors.
