Job Description

The Department of Medicine invites applications from basic sciences for tenure-track faculty positions. Candidates will be considered for the academic rank of assistant professor, associate professor, or professor, depending on academic background and prior scientific achievements. Applicants are expected to have an outstanding track record of significant publications. The successful candidate will be expected to have a strong track record of NIH funding. He/she will lead an independent research program and serve as a collaborators between basic, translational, and clinical research groups within the School of Medicine, the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Dalton Cardiovascular Research Center, and/or several other academic units on campus. This position will be accompanied by a highly competitive start-up package and excellent laboratory facilities.
