Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

Under general supervision, assist with successful proficiency of On Your Time Initiatives (OYT) by performing data collection/data management services, coordinating class offerings, and providing excellent customer service through administrative support to assist instructors, students, University departments and inter-office personnel.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

Master's degree or a bachelor's degree and 2 years related program experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer Microsoft Access experience/proficiency, data collection/database experience and demonstrated customer service skills. Prior experience working in a higher education environment with academic course registration processes is positive.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Excellent organizational skills with an ability to compose, prepare and edit correspondence, reports and publications with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work product. Ability to analyze and interpret data using various data collection methods and mathematical techniques. Excellent verbal and written communication, program coordination, planning and proofreading skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with frequent interruptions, staying current with fluid receipt of information in varying formats. Excellent customer service and human relations skills, especially the ability to work with other office members to accomplish complex tasks. Ability to demonstrate patience and professionalism. Knowledge of general office practices/procedures and computing hardware/software resources. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
