Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

Under general and/or direct supervision, performs semi-skilled electrical duties required to maintain and repair campus-wide electrical systems. Installs electrical equipment and remodels existing electrical services to support campus departments. Works in support of journey level electricians while developing independent skills.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

High school diploma and 1 year of experience in electrical maintenance and/or installation in commercial or industrial applications. Driver License required.

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of trade school or apprenticeship training program and/or SC journeyman license.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Knowledge of electrical systems installation.
