Position Description
Advertised Job Summary
The University of South Carolina invites applications for one full-time instructor in the Department of Statistics to teach four courses elementary (100-level and 200-level) statistics classes per major semester. Some of the classes may be large (up to 200 students) sections taught with the support of graduate instructional assistants. Service responsibilities will include supervising graduate students and other service activities related to elementary statistics instruction.
QualificationsMaster's Degree in Statistics and evidence of instructional excellence. PhD preferred. Familiarity with classroom technology, online course management systems, and distributed learning is preferred.
