Duties, Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Implement and update the semi-annual special events strategic-program
2. Promote and market physical education classes and special events to Aims students, faculty, and staff.
3. Place physical education classes, and special events marketing materials throughout campus.
4. Adhere to all organizational deadlines.
5. Stimulate growth and participation in physical education classes and activities.
6. Execute timely adjustments in events, activities, leagues and programs.
7. Perform other event related duties including managing the event database.
8. Follow all Physical Education and Recreation Department policies and procedures.
9. Hold a valid CPR/first aid card and/or is willing to obtain/renew card through certified agency.
10. Able to attend in house training session

Minimum Qualifications

1. High school graduate; college experience preferred.
2. Skilled professional communication etiquette
3. Great interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

1. One or more years event planning and programming experience
2. Marketing and promotions experience
3. Possess effective decision-making skills
4. Ability to communicate and work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
