Job description

Duties: This position will manage multiple research projects in the area of adoptive T-cell immunotherapy within the Center for Cellular Immunotherapies (CCI). He/she will report directly to the Director of CCI, and work closely with the Director of Research Operations. This position will also involve personnel management and training of technical staff as appropriate to the project. In addition, the hire will contribute to strategic discussions within CCI, present at conferences, and draft scientific manuscripts.

Qualifications: The minimum of a Master's degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. A doctoral degree (PhD or MD) with a background and postdoctoral experience in cancer research and/or immunology is preferred. Advanced knowledge in techniques of cell and molecular biology, including experience using animal models, flow cytometry and data analysis software is required. The successful candidate will be highly functioning with excellent interpersonal skills, experience mentoring and training, and ability to work collaboratively to achieve goals.
