Duties: The Clinical Research Coordinator A will provide support and collect data for two federally-funded implementation science research studies: (1) a mixed-methods study that is exploring determinants and outcomes that promote implementation and sustainability of a comprehensive community-based intervention for low-income minority school-aged children with asthma and their caregivers; and (2) a complex multi-site study that aims to reduce the research-to-practice gap by identifying accurate and cost-effective fidelity measurement methods in community mental health centers. The Clinical Research Coordinator A is needed to provide support to the development of study materials, recruitment and consenting of adult and youth research participants, administration of quantitative assessments and qualitative interviews, management of study documents and data, shared supervision of undergraduate research assistants, assistance with IRB documentation and submissions, and facilitating and maintaining positive working relationships with collaborators

Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Public Health, or related field with 1-3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Previous experience working in research is preferred. Previous experience working in community settings (e.g., schools, primary care, community mental health centers, etc) and/or in implementation science is also preferred. Proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Office, REDcap, NVIVO, SPSS is also preferred. Outstanding organizational skills are essential. Exquisite attention to detail; the ability to manage multiple responsibilities including daily tasks and planning for longer-term projects; outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, particularly given the community partner aspect of this work; and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team are all essential for this position. Individual must be comfortable communicating with diverse audiences.
Must pass Pennsylvania's Child Protective Services Act (also known as Act 73) background checks within 30-90 days of employment. Valid driver's license required.
