The University of Kentucky HealthCare Enterprise (UKHC) is seeking a Director of Enterprise Project Management to oversee the Enterprise Project Management Office. The duties of this position include, but are not limited to: leading organizational project management (OPM) as a discipline at UKHC; utilizing project, program, and portfolio management to consistently and predictably deliver organizational strategy producing better performance, better results, and a sustainable competitive advantage; and developing and implementing organizational processes including planning, process development, policy maintenance, and procedural review while being flexible in design to meet UKHC business needs.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or standing with objects 25lbs and above; occasionally sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with repetitive motions (such as typing); regularly traversing campus facilities; occasionally traveling for work-related purposes; and effectively communicating both verbally and in writing with patients, caregivers, and staff at all levels.



Shift

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. As an exempt level position, additional hours will be required to meet business needs.



Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of collaborative work and excellence in strategic operations and improvement initiatives; excellent communication skills; and proficiency in MS Office/Project and Clarity Project Management software.

Preferred Education/Experience

More than 10 years of project management experience, preferrably in a healthcare environment. Experience with Agile, Project Management, Waterfall, and SAFe.
