Department Overview
The Office of Grant and Contract Management, a division of the UNTHSC Research Office, provides pre-award, post-award, and accounting services for the support of faculty and other investigators while promoting compliance with federal and state agencies, private sponsor agreements, and UNTHSC research policies.

Position Details
The Office of Grant and Contract Manager is seeking to hire a Senior Post Award Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

* Initiate ProjID award setup in EIS System/PeopleSoft upon receipt of Notice of Grant Awards.
* Work with Principal Inv estigators and Department Administrators on Project Initiation Meetings (PIM), reconciling budgets for awards,reviewing and approving requests for rebudgets, progress report submissions and no cost extension requests.
* Review and approve ePro requisitions for purchases and approve ePARs for payroll allocation requests on sponsored research projects.
* Respond to internal and external customer inquiries regarding award management to include budget concerns, account status, carry forward requests and subsequent years of funding.
* Liaison between the Sponsor and PI/Department Administrator for items requiring prior sponsor approval via email, phone calls or sponsor electronic websites for requests submissions.
* Provide training as needed to PIs/Department Administrators.

Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree and four (4) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualification:

*CRA or working towards certification
