Department Overview
The Center for Innovative Learning (CIL) provides support for faculty and students engaged in online and blended courses. We offer expertise in instructional design, online curriculum design, course development, technical support and best practices in teaching and learning, as well as, support for educational technology and assessment services.

The Senior Administrative Coordinator is responsible for providing high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing financial reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. May also train and supervise lower-level clerical staff.

Position Details
The Center for Innovative Learning Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Senior Administrative Coordinator to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

* Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.
* Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages.
* Review and analyze budget reports, prepare and develop budget modifications and recommendations.
* Attend meetings to record minutes.
* Greet visitors and determine whether they should be given access to specific individuals.
* Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution.
* File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports.
* Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email.
* Make travel arrangements.
* Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries.
* Prepare agendas and make arrangements, such as coordinating catering for luncheons, for committee, board, and other meetings.
* Coordinate and direct office services, such as records, departmental finances, budget preparation, personnel issues, and housekeeping.
* Maintain SARA documentation for the University.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities Needed:

* Strong communication skills with friendly, customer service attitude.
* Proficient with technology including adobe acrobat, Qualtrics, Microsoft Office 365, One Drive, and shared calendars.
* Adaptive to change and teachable.
* Exceptional organizational skills.

Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following required qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* Administrative experience.
* Experience with EIS.
* Experience at a state-funded university.
* The ability to demonstrate technology proficiency during an interview.
