Job Summary
This Adjunct Faculty member teaches paralegal education courses such as: Fundamentals of Law, Trial Preparation, Legal Writing, Legal Research, Trial Practice and Appeals, Torts, Criminal Law, Family Law, Business Law, Wills, Trusts and Estates and Real Estate Principles, Practices and Law.
Duties & Responsibilities
Teaches paralegal students the theoretical and practical applications of the law
Evaluates students
Participates in recruitment and advisement activities
Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
Juris Doctor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
One (1) year teaching experience at College or Community College level preferred
Candidates for this position must be members of the Bar and have at least three (3) years of practice experience in the fields of Law which will be taught
Must be knowledgeable about the paralegal profession and the unique issues involved in teaching individuals joining the profession
Possess strong commitment to the utilization of legal assistants
Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings
