NWTC is seeking to build a pool of Academic Coaching Assistant's to tutor students within a variety of offered courses at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Academic Coaching Assistants are an integral part of the College's staff, helping us provide all learners with the highest quality learning opportunities when, where and how they want it.

LOCATION: District Wide. Classes could be held in Green Bay, Marinette, Wausaukee, and/or Sturgeon Bay or surrounding areas.
HOURS: Hours vary and can include day and/or evening hours.
ANTICIPATED START DATE: NWTC is seeking to build a pool of Academic Coaching Assistants to provide assistance within a variety of offered courses.
SALARY: $8.00/hour for 1:1 sessions, $9.00/hour for group sessions
POSITION REPORTS TO: Manager, Student Support Services

Location: Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, Human Resources, 2740 West Mason Street, Green Bay, WI 54307-9042. All postings are considered current and available until removed from the website.

Education: High school graduate and a minimum of a B in the course you wish to provide academic support.


  • Review class materials with students and refer student back to instructor for further assistance if they continue to struggle with the material.
  • Provide academic support to students in specified areas of study.
  • Contact Tutor Coordinator if the student continues to struggle and/or has any other concerns.
  • Collect attendance and enter all students tracking & time submission after each session.
  • Model and maintain a professional attitude towards staff, instructors and students.
  • Provide the Tutor Coordinator with up-to-date availability.
  • Notify the Tutor Coordinator in advance if you will be absent and/or as soon as possible in case of an emergency.
  • Attend all training and refresher training as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
