Job Duties: * Main point of contact for the Office of Diversity Affairs (ODA) * Assist learners, faculty, staff and visitors with general questions in person and by telephone, or direct them to other office staff or the Associate Dean as appropriate * Manage the calendar and meeting schedule of the Associate Dean for Diversity and facilitate as needed with calendar assistance with the Director of Brody RISE and others as needed in the ODA * Maintain a working knowledge of the diversity groups within the ODA and assist the Diversity Coordinator as needed with event planning, preparation and execution * Assist the Diversity Coordinator as needed in preparing of reports and presentations * Attend and maintain minutes from ODA staff meetings, retreats and other meets held by the ODA * Oversee office decorations and snacks/candy for events held in the ODA * Assist the Diversity Coordinator as needed with the Tapestry newsletter and with website updates * Assist in maintaining the ODA calendar and with communicating upcoming diversity group and ODA events and activities * Inventory and restock supplies after events * Organize storage and supply rooms * Other office/clerical duties as needed/assigned by the Associate Dean for Diversity * Locate articles using library databases as needed per the direction of the Associate Dean for Diversity * Work with university librarians to complete searches for articles and prepare folders for article review * Review abstracts and prepare references for articles under the supervision of the Associate Dean for Diversity
