Posting Summary:
This position assists in the financial reporting function of the University Financial Reporting and Operations department. Working under the direction of the Director of Financial Reporting, this position is primarily responsible for the preparation of the University's annual and quarterly financial statements and footnotes, as well as other external reporting to State and federal agencies.


The position analyzes current and future Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB) pronouncements and assists in their implementation as applicable to the University.

The position will serve as an expert on the University's financial accounting system and its underlying data, providing strong analytical support in order to ensure the accuracy of financial data.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong written and oral communication skills; advanced analysis skills; ability to synthesize information; ability to navigate University databases and systems; must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and advanced working knowledge of Excel functionality. Ability to direct and indirectly influence a diverse team through collaboration.
